A Beta update of 3CX Android App is available for download. Get it now for added image compression support when sending large photos. Read on to prepare for any unsupported Android devices.
Automatic image compression
Effective with 3CX V18 Update 1, the updated Android App (Beta) also adds support for image compression. Large images sent to MMS, SMS and Facebook are automatically compressed to fit messaging provider’s file size limits.
Unsupported Android devices
Devices using Android 7.1 and below will no longer be supported. This is due to changes in Let’s Encrypt certification and in order to keep the 3CX App up-to-date with the latest technologies.
As soon as the new 3CX App is officially released on the Play Store, any older versions running on devices using Android 7.1 and below, will no longer be eligible for new features, bug fixes and security patches.
Other fixes and improvements
- Added Queue Login/Logout and Change Status handling during a call
- Added ability to call from Android Contacts by using 3CX client
